Round Table...
The group has had a series of round table discussions over the last couple months, looking at different types of fleeces and different methods on how to wash them and prepare them for spinning.
Various methods of washing a fleece were discussed in March, from Margret Stove's "lock by lock" method to the simple tub washing method, with suggestions from members of other methods they have tried like the washing machine method (where the Washing Machine is used like a tub with fleece in a net bag).
The next round table discussion will be held tomorrow, on Saturday the 11th April, and will be focusing on Spinning Wheel Maintenance. So feel free to come and join us at the Mitchell Studios for a cuppa and a chat, and bring along your spinning wheel and some lunch. This session will be repeated on Wednesday 15th April.
