August Show & Tell
The East Gippsland Wool & Craft Group meets every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, excluding the 4th Saturday in December. As well as these social Saturdays, our group also participates in a variety of events through out the year.
Every 2nd Saturday of the month we have a social day, which we call our "PUBS & PUNS" day. This is where we bring along projects to work on as well as sharing different techniques of various handcrafts with one another. On the 4th Saturday of the month we have a little meeting and get together to talk about what is happening and to show off what we have recently made.
Today for the first time we can also share what's happening on our blog. We had a few different articles made by various members for show and tell. These included knitting, crochet, Quaker embroidery and spindle spinning.
Next month in September, the 2nd Saturday is a bit different to our normal month as we are holding our Annual Open Day. This exciting and fun filled day features:
On the 12th of October we are going to have a Lace Day. There will be a display of different types of lace along with an afternoon workshop on tatting.

- Large display of articles by the group featuring this year's theme of "Recycling"
- Craft demonstrations
- A raw fleece spinning & knitting challenge, similar to that of the "Back to Back"
- A raffle
- A "Cash for Stash" table
